I offer a limited number of sliding-scale spots for men who are committed to doing this work but are facing a genuine financial barrier. The sliding-scale rate starts at $192. If this applies to you, just mention it when we talk — we'll work something out if we can.

Insurance Through Headway

I accept insurance through Headway. If you'd like to use your insurance benefits, you can check your coverage and book directly — Headway profile link to be added before launch.

A note on how I approach this: I accept insurance because I want it to be an option for the men who need it. That said, I want you to go in with clear expectations. Coverage varies widely, and some plans require a formal diagnosis on your record to process a claim. If that matters to you, it's worth understanding your plan before we start.

Why Some Men Choose to Pay Out of Pocket

Cash pay — paying directly without going through insurance — is what most of my clients choose. It's not for everyone, but here's why it makes sense for some men:

More Privacy

Insurance claims require a diagnosis code that becomes part of your medical record. Paying privately keeps the details of your care between you and me.

More Flexibility

Without insurance dictating session frequency, we set the pace based on what the work actually calls for — not what a policy allows.

No Surprises

You know the rate going in. No coverage denials, no billing surprises after the fact.

If you're unsure which route is right for you, we can talk it through on the consultation call. There's no pressure either way.

A Word About Fit

I work with men — specifically men dealing with trauma, social anxiety, and faith-based growth. If that's you, we should talk.

There are some situations where I'm not the right fit, and I'd rather say so up front than take your time and money if I can't actually help. I don't work with high-acuity clinical presentations, active crisis situations, primary substance-use issues, couples, or families. If you're in one of those situations, I'll do my best to point you toward someone who can help.

If you're not sure whether you fit, just reach out. The free consultation is exactly for that.

"If you want what you've never had, you have to do what has not been done."
